The LSWS members are experienced watercolor artists with wide connections to teaching and hosting art groups of all mediums within Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin.
Below are some of the many groups and facilities in and around the Duluth area which our members are involved. These are opportunities to paint watercolor and connect with other watercolor artists.

Includes classes in watercolor and other art mediums.
DAI Open Studio
Opportunities to paint and meet other artists in Duluth each week. Check out the Duluth Art Institute class schedule.
|Artists of Minnesota
MN Artists who gather to have an annual show/convention to display art, be judged, and attend demos. Categories form beginners to advanced in all mediums. It is held at different location in MN in the Spring.

Includes watercolor and other art mediums.
|Lake Superior Abstract Group
Local and area artists who are interested in exploring and learning about abstract art.
|Arrowhead Art Club
Open art group that meets in Carlton MN once a month to paint together. 3rd Monday 9-3p
A group of Artists who meet regularly, promote art education, and sell their work at the Two Harbors Art Center.
Bill Wise teaches On-line and in person classes in the area.
|Art Cellar (Mary Beth Downs)
Gives watercolor classes in her private studio
|Figure Drawing at the Duluth Art Institute
Life drawing, 2 hrs. is held monthly on the first (or second) Saturday with live models.
