I have spent most of my life making art. I was a public school art teacher for over 30 years in Nebraska. My spouse Paula and I are retired teachers and coaches, and can be found close to our two grandsons on Madeline Island, WI.

I believe inspiration is all around us. Which is reflected in my paintings, objects, landscapes, man made machinery.   I may work in a series of a topic, or hop around with what I see and capture on photos. I create a couple commissions annually, but am enjoying producing on my own.

I am continually motivated by seeing artist’s approaches and techniques.
