My spouse Paula and I moved to Duluth in the summer of 2019. Our daughter and family live here in Duluth. We are retired public school teachers and coaches from southwest Nebraska. I believe that inspiration for art is all around us. I’ve never found myself focused on one subject matter, but hop around with images that arouse my interest. As well as my own watercolors, I have painted a couple of commissioned pieces each year, and I am always up for a challenge.

I am continually motivated by different techniques and approaches that watercolor painting can present to each individual painter.
